THE BARRETT CUP. Tho North Shore Rowing Club recently I adopted the following rules in connection ' with competition (or tho cup presented to the club by Mr. J. Barrett: —" The Barrett I Cup is to be rowed Jor at the clubshed on , the opening day each season: to be open to | ail clubs who ar e to row their own trials. ", the winner of each club's final to compete j in the grand final for the cup; the race 9to I be rowed under the rules of the N.Z.A.BA■: | crews to be picked in the presence- of each. competing club secretary and captain or two club delegates. It was decided to hold the competition on Saturday. January 8."
