That, in pursuance and in exercise- of the powers rested in it by Sub-section (b) of Section 16 of " The Local Bodies' Loan Act. 1913." and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling (an Order-in-Council in pursuance of Section 20 of " The Finance Act, 1919 " bavins been obtained authorising the Council lo borrow), the Manukau County Council hereby resolves, by way of Special Order, as follows:— I—That the Council proceed to raise a loan of Two Thousand pounds (£'2OUO) for the purpose of lorming and metalling Moumounai Hill Road. '2—That such loan be called " The Manukau County Council Moumoukai Hill Koad Loan of £2000, 1921." 3 —That the currency of the said loan shall be for a period of thirty-six and one-half (365) years, commencing on the Ist day of February, 1921. and maturing on the Ist day of August, 1957. 4 —That the interest on the said loan shall beat the rate of Five Pounds Ten Shillings (£5 10s) per centum per annum, and be payable half-yearly, on the Ist days of August and February. s—That the form of security for the payment of principal and interest on the said loan shall be two (2) debentures of One Thousand Pounds (£1000) each and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the provisions of " The Local Bodies' Loans Act. 1913." 6—That the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the said loan and the interest.
