ST. LEON'S CIRCUS.
Few entertainments appeal to young ; and old and middle-aged of either sex like a good circus. St. Leon's Circus, which has been a familiar institution in Australia and New Zealand for upwards of fiv T o generations of amusement lovers, will open a season at the Old Dock site, Quay Street, on Friday evening, Christmas Eve. The circus has just completed a season of nine nights 3t Wellington, and indudes no less than 35 artists, including riders, acrobats, equilibrists, wire-walkers, equestrians, and numerous aerial and novelty acts. Among the cleverest acts in the circus is a performance by five mountain sheep, the training of which in described by their trainer as one of the hardest tasks he ha 3 ever undertaken. / CUTICURA HEALS PAINFUL RASH.
