ANOTHER ISLAND WRECK.
CUTTER TUI VUNASALU. SINKS IN DEEP WATER, [FROM OT7S OW>' CORRESPONDENT.] SUVA (Fiji). Dec. 13. The auxiliary cutter Tui Vunasalu, laden with general cargo, and carrying passengers, left Suva on Thursday afternoon for Sigatoka. On JFriday evening, shortly after having passed Navua, aha struck " a horse's head." or coral outcrop, and stove a hole in her bottom. The engine refused to start, and the vessel filled so quickly that the crew and passengers barely had time to get clear in the boat, when she sank in deep water. The loss is a serious one for her owners, Messrs. H. W. Michael, storekeepers and producers of Sigatoka. The cargo was worth £400 or £SCO, and the vessel £1500. There was no insurance. The Tui Vunasalu was a popular coastal trader, and recently was used by the Government in the unsuccessful Eearch for the captain and crew of the mysteriouslywrecked ketch Korunah.
