Tho Wisihi Goldmininfr Company. during the period ended November 27, crushed and treated 13,103 tons of ore for ft return, of 35760z. of gold, and ' BG£23oe. of silver. . Taking the gold at _ tho British mist T»iu«* of £4 Sa per oz. this works out at £16,198. while. basing tho silver on the latest London ~ quotation for that metal, namely. 3s id per oz., the" value of that portion of the yield is £5433. Tins cm® a total estimated return of £20,631 ■which,- compared -with tbs yield for tho corresponding period of - last ■ year, •when. 16,265 tons cave an actual return of £27.140,- this shows an apparent decrease of £5509. Tho total amount won from the mine to date is £12,904.521. The following information has been cabled to the head office of the company in • Lop- i don: No. 12 level, Bath crossc-.it.At BS't, - in the crosscut there is a -width) of 2ft. , of quarts; the value is Sd per ton. At 103 ft. in the r.rosscut the -width of quartz is 4ft. Sin. and the value is 7s 7d & ton.
