gj rr In reference to your statement in this morning's Herald that " -six leading photographers of Auckland " had questioned the genuineness of the spirit photographs shown by Sir A. Conan Doyle. T 'find that the general public place me among the sis leading photographers of this city, and as I was in no way party to' this challenge I would be pleased if -vqu would correct this misapprehension. Sir. —I have photographed for 20 years, have .me of the best lenses ever ma-de, and oven in dim uaylight it fails to photograph certain portions. Consequently, a. boy ran see that a, phonograph cannot- be developed of a thing unseen by mortal eyes. Photographers will laugh when they read .Sir Conan Doyle* has the positives and slides, but no negatives. Of course not.
