THE PATE TO REFORM.
NEGLECTED BALLOT-BOX.
LABOUR LEADER'S ADVICE. Beuter. LONDON, Dec 6. Mr. J. H. Thomas, M.P., organising secretary of the National Union of Railwaymen, addressing a meeting of railwaymen at Plymouth declared that there must be radical improvement in the conditions of the working classes. He contended that the most sensible way to accomplish this was through the ballotbox, not by a bloody upheaval. He declared that his previous speech had been misinterpreted—he did not intend it as a threat of coming trouble.
