CONCLUDING SITTING. The Auckland District Synod of the Methodist Church, presided over by the Rev, P. N. Knight, concluded its sessions yesterday. A welcome was accorded 'Mr. Thomas Allen, who recently returned from England. The accommodation at Deaeoness Hot)**. Christchurch, was reported to be fully taxed, and satisfaction was expressed at tho improved state of the institution. Regulations regarding the deaconess retii ins fund wero drafted and approved. Tho report on tho Auckland Methodist Mission referred to tho illness of the superintendent, tho Rev. E. T.
