Word has been received from the captain and chief engineer of the Admiral Codrington as to the condition of that vessel's meat on arrival in England It appears that some mutton on the top tiers in the square of the hatches was found to be spotted with white mould, and such carcases could be reconditioned. All offal went bad on account of using a trunkway when loading wheat in Australia and wag condemned. Nona of the meat had been rejected as unfit for sale.
