BOY STEALS A BICYCLE.

The theft of a bicycle was admitted by a 14-year-old boy, who appeared in the Juvenile Offenders Court yesterday, hefore Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M. It was stated that the bicycle had been left against a post in Symonds Street. The boy took it and rode home. When questioned, he said a friend had purchased a new- bicycle and had given him-the old one. The boy. who was the e'.dest of nine children, was placed on probation for six months.
