THE WEATHER.

FORECAST BY MR. C. L. WRAGGE.

The following weather forecast was .issued by Mr. Clement L. Wragge last evening:—The main portion of the disturbance, DethaL .is passing into west longitude, in the neighbourhood of the Chatham Islands, but a secondary "loop" is off Bluff. A high "pressure system is approaching the North Island from- the lower latitudes at the Tasmain Sea. Finer and more stable weather is therefore likely over the North Island generally, but the aftermath of Dethal -should still influence the districts between Marlborough and Southland. . Sea moderating in the North, but inclined to be rough off Southern coasts. . Winds chiefly from between west-south-west, south, and east-south-east.
