TO FIGHT LEVINSKY. A. and N.Z. NEW YORK, Oct. 6.

It is reported that Mr. R. G. Welsh, an English promoter, has signed a contract with Battling Levinsky for a 20-round fight with Joe Beckett within three months after Levinsky's contest with Carpentier. Levinsky, in his contest with Beckett, will receive a guarantee of 50.00 C dollars if he defeats Carpentier, 25,000 dollars if he draws the, match, and 15,000 dollars if Carpentier defeats him.
