HIGHER WAGES DEMANDED.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
DUNEDIN, Thursday. At a meeting of the Hillside branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants the continued increase in the cost of living was discussed, and the following resolution was carried unanimously ''That owing to the unchecked advance in the cost of necessities and the latest unwarranted increase in the price of butter we ask our executive council to make an immediate demand for an increase in pav of *2s on per day."
