Three members of the crew of the steamer Ayrshire David Nejlson, William Johnston, and Thomas Youngwho were convicted on September 4 of the theft of four rolls of tweed, valued at £19, the property of the Federal Shire Line, appeared before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday for sentence, as the vessel will be leaving Auckland shortly. Accused were each fined £5, in default two months' , imprisonment.
