MOTOR COLLISION SEQUEL.
. CLAIM AND COUNTER-CLAIM. A sequel to a collision in Remuera Road on April 26, was a case heard by Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday, when Alfred Jarman (Mr. Singer), motor-bus driver, claimed from Dr. H. Goulding Rice (Mr. Sellar), of Remuera Road, £26 8s 8d damages for repairs to his car and loss- of work. Counsel for plaintiff said that on the evening of April 26, plaintiff was driving into town from the races at Ellerslie with passengers, and struck defendant's car, which was standing in the road in front of his residence without lights. It was dark at the time and raining, and plaintiff could not see defendant's car. Defendant counter-claimed, for £31 10s Id damages, contending thai his car was standing in the full glare cl his gato light, and that the accident was due to plaintiff's careless and negligent* driving. ; Decision was reserved.
