TO FIGHT NEXT WEEK. (Reed. 12.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 4. Sporting circles point out that while the Levinsky-Carpentier fight, which will be Held in Jersey City on October 12 is a contest for the light heavy-weight championship, Carpentier will be compelled to show superior heavy-weight ability. It is believed that Levinsky will give Carpentier a hard contest. It is expected) that the' Frenchman, in order to arouse popular interest, will be forced to display prowess worthy of Dempsey's known strength.
