ROME, Oct. 4. _ Tho -Italian General Confederation of Labour has formulated the following 12 points as the minimum of their demands in connection with the Industry Bill which a mixed commission is framing :— 1. The -workpeople'* shall control purchases of Taw material. - ; . & They shall supervise the sale of finished , products. '3. They shall superintend rates of* pay.s 4. Thqr shall control unloading. 5. They shall assign each worker the task for which he or she is best fitted. 6. .They shall arrange conditions of employment in workshops and industries.. 7. They' shall control general working expenses, 'especially in restricting the outlay ..of present proprietors and directors who .snaj- be regarded as sharers of the profits. * " :
. 8. They , shall control decisions to replace outworn and inefficient machinery. , £}~They shall the maintenance of hygienic • conditions;. '""*' '""' 10. They shall exercise the right of compelling employers *to provide requisite utensils. *•
11; -They shall exercise ■ the right to aliminate artificial crises in industry. 12» They shall be given power to prevent damning.
