YOUNG WOMAN FOUND DEAD.
BODY HANGING IN OUTHOUSE.
The body of a young -woman, Mrs. Ruth Crowe, wife of Mr. J. M. Crowe, packer, was found hanging in an outhonse of her residence, 79, Old Mill Road, Grey Lynn, shortly after noon yesterday. Assistance was at once obtained by the deceased's sister-in-law, Miss Rene Crowe, and the body was cut down, but life was found to be extinct.
The circumstances are of an unusually sad nature. Both the deceased and her husband had been suffering from influenza, the former for about a fortnight. Mrs. Crowe appeared to be recovering, and yesterday was able to get out of bed. She was at the bedside of her husband, who was in a critical state, until noon, and went outside a little later. Shortly afterwards her body - was discovered by her sister-in-law.
, Mr. Crowe was yesterday conveyed to tie hospital in a serious condition.
