PRESENTATION.

An illuminated address signed by Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., the Mayor of Otihuha' Mr. A. McDonald, local J.P.'s, and members of the Borough Council, was presented to Sergeant P. Harvey at Otahnhn on Saturday. The Mayor and other speakers congratulated Sergeant Harvey on his promotion to Dannevirke as seniorsergeant, and referred to the unfailing tact and courtesy exercised by him. Thev expressed regret at his departure, and on behalf of ■ the residents extended good wishes for the future. Senior-Sergeant Harvey leaves for his new station tomorrow, and Sergeant R. T. Hodgson, of Onehunga, will succeed him.
