A NEW WAR LEAGUE.
MEN WHO FOUGHT AT YPRES. (Received 12.45 p.m.) Reuter . LONDON, Sept. 7. Influential support has been accorded to the new Ypres League started by Field-Marshals Lord French and Lord Plumer, whose aim is to extol the name of every soldier who served in the Ypres salient. A roster of the dead will be published, and branches established in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and elsewhere in the Empire. There will also be an annual reunion, and the Government will be urged to erect a great and j worthy memorial.
