REMUERA SCHOOLS.

The Bemuera Schools Committee at its last meeting decided to inaugurate an improvement scheme in connection with the new school at Green Lane. An intimation was received from the Ellerslie Committee that a portion of the proceeds collected -cr providing suitable playing areas for the infants would be forwarded. The planting of suitable trees in Dromorne Road was approved. It was decided to ask the Education Board to effect certain improvements at the Meadowbanks school. .It also was decided to bring before the Pnmaw Association the Question of reduced tram faieV for children travelling to _pnmary schools. ______
