Cozens-Hardy (Liberal) 11,755 G. Edwards (Labour) . . 6,536 The Hon. William Cozens-Hardy succeeded to the peerage on the death of his father, Baron Cozens-Hardy, formerly Master of the Rolls, and first holder of the title.
