Tho football match on Saturday between the English Rugby League team and New South Wales,which was won by -New South Wales by 42 point* to 6, was ono of trie most sensational played in Sydney, a victory by such a margin staggering tho most optimistic of homo supporters. The Englishmen questioned seme of the rulings of the referee, but were outplayed from the commencement. ' During tho match two of tho English three-quarters were ordered off the field in the second half for repeatedly questioning the referee's decision, and a third for punching an opponent.
