CHRISTCHURCH SUICIDE.

[by telegraph.- -tress association. J CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. {John Ridd MeLeod, a married man, about forty-five years of age, was round dead yesterday at hie home in Merivale with his throat cut. He had beer, living with bis wife and daughter up to a fortnight ago, wher they left him owing to his drinking habits, and his wife had instituted proceedings for a judicial separation.

At an inquest held to-day a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned.
