General Sir William Birdwood left for Invercargill this morning. He was »f. corded a civio reception on Saturday after, noon, sind laid the foundation of the Returned Soldiers' Association- Memorial Club. The General waa also welcomed bv the Overseas Club. Yesterday he visited soldiers in the hospital.
