INDIAN CYCLE SPECIALTIES. An attractive stand at tlio show is tha of v Messrs. Vickery. Ltd.. who arc show in" the famous Indian motor-cycle specialties. Occupying a prominent posi tion in the exhibit is the new 4-5 h.p Scout Model, which is being shown foi the first time. This handsome little ma- ; chine has a number of new features, ineluding cog drive from engine to gear box, ' instead of chain drive. Ihe machine i has also a low saddle position, and is re- I mark ably steady on the road. Another ; exhibit is the stock Indian electric light model, which can be wd either *010 or with a side-car. The Khaki model, with i side-car, i? fitted up in a moat luxurious j manner with disc wheels, electric light,, i handle-bar muffs, mirror, side-car wind screen, and every possible little comfort that will add to the pleasure of motorcycling. Other interesting exhibits are an Indian outfit with two-seater side-car, ' and the latest B.S.A. models. The I wi.lid's record fast time was recently established 011 the beach, Florida. U.S.A.. when a spec sal racing Indian attained a • speed of 115 miles per hour, end a- stock | Indian attained a speed if 105 miles per I hour. The latter was the same as the i standard machine sold in New Zealand, iAt the 1 lover Motor-Cycling ( lub s | climbing test in America, in us classes I Indians won every prize with the e\cep- , tion of one second. This included the light class hill-climb, which was won by | the Indian Scout, and also side car and solo events. Messrs. Yickery have re- , cently landed a large shipment of Indians. and are therefore in the happy posii tion of being able to supply from stock. I The firm also .stocks a wide range of j motor and push cycle accessories, and 1 also several high-class makes of ordinary j bicycles. Visitors to the stand will be ! willingly supplied with information and ! prices, while a visit to the firm's spacious j showrooms in Victoria Street will also [prove profitable to the visitor.
