FOUND SHOT IN HOTEL.

PUNEDIN, Wednesday
Anthony Patterson, a single man, aged 25 years, a farm labourer, was found dead in his bedroom at the Occidental Hotel this morning. There was a wound in the centra of deceased's forehead, and a rifle with a discharged cartridge in the chamber was lying on the floor. The deceased was last seen alive yesterday at about 1.45 p.m., when he went to his room.
