The little steameTr Monica, which has boen in the Banks Peninsula trade for U years, is under offer for sale to the Northern Wairoa Dairy Company. The Monica was built 11 years ago in Auckland, to the order of Dr. H. T. J. Thacier (Mayor of Christchurch). for the Peninsula trade. Her dimensions are:-Beam. 18ft j length, 60ft; depth of hold, 7ft 6m; gross tonnage., 60. She is able to carry 85 tons deadweight. The ' Surrey, now in Australia, is to load in New Zealand in June for the United Kingdom. The Mapourika, which has taken up "the Arshura's running, in the Auckland-East Coast trade, will leave for Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, and Napier, at 3 p.m. to-day. She will lcavo for Wellington os Thursday, The Argyllshire, which left Liverpool in April for Australia, has been fixed to load in New Zealand for the United Kingdom. The Mabana was expected to leave London at the end of last month for New Zealand, but so far, no advice of her departure has been received. She is bringing a large number of immigrants to the Dominion, and is coming in ballast. Tho Karori, which arrived at Dunedin on Sunday from Newcastle, was delayed by a heavy south-east galo. THE KAKAPO. The Kakapo arrived, from Westport last night with a cargo of coal, and anchored in tho stream. She will come alongside the Talune this morning and supply her with bunker coal. The Kakapo also has about 900 tons of coalufor the Auckland Gas Company. THE RIVERINA. A wireless message received from the Riverina, yesterday, stated that she expected to reach Auckland, from Sydney, at 8 a.m. to-day. She will berth at the King's Wharf, and will* sail for Sydney again on Thursday, at coon.

PACIFIC MAIL STEAMERS. Th© R.M.S. Niagara is expected to reach Auckland from Sydney at 6 a.m. to-dty. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf. and will leave for Vancouver, via porta, et 10 p.m. on Wednesday. The R.M.S. Makura loft Vancouver for I Auckland, via porta, at 7 a.m. on Sat irday. She will be due here about May 21.
