The Dublin correspondent of S the Times depict 6 an alarming growth of land agitation in the West of Ireland. In " County Clare, the date of the renewalof - grazing agreements was marked by law.lessness, cattle driving, sad. the terror!, nation of landlords by nocturnal i fires, shootings, and the destruction'of fences. Warning graves were dug in gardens, ■ and attempts were made to compel the ' surrender cf land. Other landlords are '• protected by military, who are camping on their lands. Large and , small landlords are equally suffering. It « openly boasted that the coming land fight will be the biggest ever -seen in Ireland. Th 8 problem is intensified by the '* r £ e number of young agriculturists who are unablo to emigrate and cannot find en outlet for their energies.
