Jessop's article in the Sunday Expressj stating that a hitch had arisen, and hinting at n possible postponement of the tour. The Times adds that the Marylebone Club is zealously watchful of new bowlers, hoping to discover a fast man suitable for Australian wickets. J. T. Tyldesley has retired.
