The copper cable for this line has now been landed, and insulators arc coming to hand. The transmission line through Papamoa to Te Puke has been surveyed, and its erection is being 1 proceeded with. Regarding Papamoa disI tribution lines advice has now been re I ceived that the necessary transformers are j landing early in May. The contractors ' for the supply of poles advise that they ' are now hopeful of getting early delivery, and importers of croesarms are making an effort to get the balance of the order across from Sydney. Immediately on receipt of the above material it is proposed 1 to put the work of erection in hand.
