THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.

The Governor-General and the Countess of Liverpool will arrive in Auckland 'Jm - afternoon, and will be in residence at Government Hotise during the Prince of Wales' visit. This will be the last visit of Their Excellencies to Auckland, and toI morrow evening they will be tendered a citizens' farewell in the Town HalL They will proceed to Rotorua on Tuesday neii, leaving there for Wellington on the following Thursday. The Countess of Liverpool will address the members of the St. Matthew's branch of the Mothers' Union at a social gathering to be he'd to-morrow afternoon at 2.5 C o'clock in the Parish Hail. Opportunity will be taken of saying farewell to Her Excellency.
