SOARING PRICES.

-«. EXASPERATED WORKERS. LONDON, March 28. Mr. J. H. Thomas, general secretary of the National Union of RaHwaymen, in an article in the Sunday Times, urges the immediate appointment of an influential committee to investigate the whole question of prices and find a remedy. It is unquestionable, he says, that the industrial horizon is darkening, and a dangerous situation -is likely to arise unless the increase in the cost of living is stopped. This is the only subject that is exasperating the workers. Otherwise they axe inclined to settle down.
