PROFITEERING ALLEGED.

TWO CASES FOR INVESTIGATION. The tribunal appointed by the Board of Trade to investigate allegations of profiteering ir the Auckland district -will sit to-day, under the presidency of Mr. M. M. McCallum, to investigate two complaints. The tribunal is now prepared to receive complaints from any person who considers that an unreasonable price has been charged for any goods. Section 19 of the Board of Trade Act provides that the expenses of witnesses may be paid by the board, and where it- is considered necessary the investigating tribunal will sit in the town most suitable for the inquiry. All complaints must be signed by the complainant and forwarded to the secretary of the tribunal.
