Earlier in thel day the committee,, -which ; promoted, the constitution of the power district met to wind up Its business, and a presentation was made to Mr. A.G. Waiburtffir; who acted as secretary, of the committee. The cost of organisation and of the preparation of. plans on ?which the license 'will; be obtained .was £455. Messrs. .'. A Wilkinson and M. Wells were elected to represent Cambridge Borough, Messrs. W. H.'-Harbutt/; and E. H. 'Hammond for the Pukekura district, and Messrs. J. W. Garland . and J. S. Fisher for the Cambridge Road Board. The new board will consist of those mentioned, the addition of Messrs.. W. J. White and The*.'
