Under . the new arrangements .tramcars' f bound from the various suburbs city-wards will not complete the journey to the usual v; termini. On the eastern routes the One- ' hunga cars will be run on a 20-njinutea' .service, and will stop at and start from the t Grafton Bridge. Cars to and from Mount Eden and Dominion Road will run ; every eight minutes, yid also stop at and £• start from thei Grafton Bridge. The same . tetmiiais will*be used for the cars to and ■<t from .Mount. l Albert, on which line a 15minnie service will be run. : Daring the " rush" hour* only, taere 4 will be 'a 20-miriute service between Greenwood's Corner, Epsom, and the corner cl V/fiyilbndit Street and Khyber Pass Road; •'a similar service between Banfurly Road, ,3Sp|om, ; : and the Grafton Bridge'; a T2O- - numrte service between the VaJey Road corner of Dominion Road and Symonds r/treefc and Khyber Pass Road; and a 15- - 'iniimt«[ service between Morningsitie and the Grafton Bridge. r '■'■■ ;:v"On tie Parnell and Bemuera routes the furthest running incoming care will stop at Si Stephen's Avenue, and not continue | down to Garfield ' Street, as was previously ;.' stated. * Th?re will be an eignt-minujo •^service-between' the Remuera Pat Office r and the new terminus, and in add tion cars will ran every 15 minutes between the Remuera terrmnoe and the Victoria Avenue terminus. - - *■■~;■ The termmuii at the city end for all cars on the Grey Lynn, Ponsonby, and Heme Bay lines will be.Pitt Street, Newton. Five-minute services will be run betweer there and the Three Lamps, eight minute services to and from the Grey Lynn terminus, and 10-minute services to and from flerne Bay. In addition, a 20-minuto perries will be run to and from tie Grey Lynn 2d eection during " rush" hours only. Special cars will be run in Queen Street, between the Wharf and Wellesley Stmt every eight minutes ; on the Freeman's Bay line, between Queen Street and Beaumont Street every 10 minutes • and along Beach' ' Road, between Quc-en Street and" Stanley ' Street every 10 minutes. The first cars will start daily at 6.30 a.m., and the !.• si outward enrs will leave ! their reir-eetivp termini at 10.30 p.m. ' There will be no cars running at all on i Sundays while the curtailed services reroam in force. SUNDAY TRIPS REDUCED.
A reduction in the Sunday ferry and tramway service, of the Takapuna Tram ways and Fern- Company, Ltd*, will come into force to-morrow. The curtailment has been necessitated solely in con» qnenee of the stoppage of the tramway service in the city, with its probable effect upon the number of people, espec"fi rum the suburbs, who will be inclined to i ndertake pleasure trips. ...
