SUCCESSES AT MASTERTON SPORTS

MASTERTON, Thursday. Members of the athletic team that is tc proceed to Australia compete, at .he annual soorts meeting of the Wa-jrarapa Atretic Club to-day. A. W. Dormer, of Auckland. won tho 880yd3 handicap from .scratch in "m 1 l-ss. Munro won the flitting too shot event with a put of I'Jft llim, ana tnrowin*; the hammer with Il«t. G. Harvey wn ;! successful in the pole-vault with 101. J in. He subsequently made an exhibition vault of lift. A. Wyett won the one nub and three mile handicaps. A, B. Blevwrnht was second in the mile walk. Victoria University won the relay race.
