TRADE WITH GERMANS.
Sir,—ln reference to the sermon by the Rev. D. C. Herron,M.C., I take exception to part of his remarks. Now, has Britain in any way indicated that she is not prepared to give the Germans a chance to build up and cleanse themselves. Who can say that wo aro claiming an enormous _ indemnity from these Huns | without giving them a chance to pay it. I myself say, Germany for Germans and also their productions. We have surely no desire for either m our midst and we will not betray our brothers who have so nobly sacrificed their lives for us and for the benefit of the British Empire, * I am sure many will be pleased to learn the attitude taken by the Returned Soldiers' Association and I heartily hone that their efforts will bear fruit.
