PATIENT DIES AT NELSON. SIX OTHER CASES NOTIFIED. [BY TELEGRAPH.— rBESS ASSOCIATION.) NELSON, Wednesday. At a meeting of the Hospital Board to-day Dr. Parr, temporary resident surgeon, reported that one. typical case of pneumonic-influenza was admitted to hospital in a critical state on December 26. The patient died 15 hours after admission. The health inspector in his report for the month stated that five cases of pneu-monic-influenza h;.d been notified in the city. There was also one case at Pangatoaroa.
