Mr. D. Bobertson, Public Service flowraissioner. arrived in Auckland yesterday, accompanied by Mrs. Robertson. They are at the Grand Hotel.
Dr. Trubv King, C.M.G., Mrs. Trubv King, and Miss King have arrived at their home in Wellington. Dr. Trubv King hsj been engaged in the United Kingdom for some time on work connected with child welfare.
Mr. L. C. E. Hamann, chief clerk in the district office of the Railway Department, who has been appointed assistant district manager at Christcliurch, w'!J leave for the sonth by to-morrow's midday train. Mr. A. Stubbs, his Bnccessor in tue chief clerkship, has taken np his new duties.
