(Received 9.10 p.m.) A. «nd N,Z. MEXICO CITY. Jan. 5. Scores of people are reported killed by a violent earthquake which affected many' parts of Mexico. The centre of the' disturbance is believed to be near the volcano zabaThe State of Vera Cruz suffered the . greatest damage, wild scenes of panic being enacted there. Many of the natives rushed to the churches, where they prayed. A similar panic occurred at Toluca, Cuernavaca, and Puebla.
