The holiday conditions of the railway service came into operation yesterday with the placing of another express on the Main Trunk run and the issue of excursion . tickets All three trains for Wellington, which feft at 1 p.m., 7.10 p.m., and 7.40 p.m respectively, were well filled. Next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday a fourth express will leave Auckland for Palmerston North at 8.40 p.m. From next Monday to January 3 yet anothS express wilf leave Auckland daily for SSS™ 1 * at 10.12 a.m. Corresponding arrangements have been made with regard to incoming expresses. Three trains will arrive from Wellington to-day. ' mU *
