LANDING AT FOOCHOW. CHINESE OFFER RESISTANCE. EXCITEMENT IN CITY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright '(Received 6-30 p.m.) A. and NIZ. LONDON. Dec. 3. Advices from Pekin, dated December 2, state that Japanese marines landed at Foochow, in the south of China, and paraded in the Japanese concession. They endeavoured unsuccessfully to enter the Chinese city. Great excitement prevails. The landing was made in consequence of recent antiJapanese disturbances in Foochow.
