The Auckland Cricket Association will accept the proposal of the* Canterbury Cricket Association to play the Canterbury representative team in Auckland on January g, 3 and 5. Tho Auckland Association should be able to get together a good team, judging by the players who have been=t£elected to practice for the match. The executive of tho Auckland Cricket Association adopted a wise policy in arranging a match with the Suburban Association on December 27. This will give the Auckland representative team that is to meet Canterbury an opportunity of displaying its capabilities, and further some players, worthy of inclusion in the team might be discovered • in the suburban eleven. Auckland has "too few good season men, and anything that will end to increase their numbers is undoubtedly a step in the right direction.
