SUGAR FOE NEW PLYMOUTH

LOADED AT ONEHUNGA. MEN'S FEARS REMOVED. The consignment of 60 tons of sugar which the waterside workers at Onehunga refused to load on the steamer Rimu en Monday was taken to New Plymouth yesterday by that vessel. The men's refusal to load th e sugar was based on the alleged shortage of supplies in the borough. Yesterday, however, they were satisfied that a, sufficient quantity of sugar had reached Onehunga to meet present local demands.
