SEVENTY-FIFTH BIRTHDAY.
NEW ZEALAND'S GREETINGS.
DOMINION'S PART IN THE WAR. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. The Governor-General has cabled to Queen Alexandra on her birthday as follows —
"I desire to associate myself with the Government and people of New Zealand in wishing Your Majesty many happy returns on your birthday. Liverpool."
Her Majesty replied : "Will you please accept and convey to the Government and people of New Zealand my grateful thanks for their kind congratulations upon the occasion of my birthday ? I shall never forget the splendid part which New Zealand has taken in the great war. — Alexandra."
Her Majesty Queen Alexandra, eldest daughter of the late Christian IX. of Denmark, was born on December 1, 1844, and was married to His late Majesty KinoEdward VII. on March 10, 1863."
