For New Zealands (fully paid) £18 15s was offered, sellers asking £19 Is. In insurances, New Zealand's were still in demand at 31s 9d, sellers 32s 3d. South British were looked for at £8 12s, sellers £8 17s 6d« There were sellers of Nationals at 78s, and buyers of Standards at 59s 6d. In gas, business was reported in Aucklands at 26s 9d. In shipping, P. and O.'s were firmer at £670, buyers offering £658. In miscellaneous lines, business was reported in Bycrofts at 21s, and In Wilsons Cements at 15s Bd. In mining, Talismans sold at 10s 2d, with* more on offer at that price, buyers 10s. Waihis had free sale at 53s 9d to 53s (ex div.). sellers closing at 533 and buyers at 52s 6d.
