BITTERNESS IN IRELAND.
NEW PRISON REGULATIONS. DENOUNCED BY NATIONALISTS Times. DUBLIN. Nov. 27. The new Government regulations in regard to the treatment of prisoners in Ireland have further embittered the situation. The Nationalist press denounce them, and Mr. Griffiths says that Sinn Fein will defy them. No political prisoner will accept the status of a criminal, and if life be forfeited in an attempt to compel them the Government will be guilty of murder. The Freeman's Journal assures the Government that no Home Rule will bridge the widening gulf if the regulations be persisted in.
