WORK FOR EX-OFFICERS.
EARL HAIG'S APPEAL. A. and N.Z LONDON, Nov. 27. Field-Marshal Earl Haig addressed a meeting of employers at the Mansion House on behalf of unemployed officers in the London district. He said there were 12,000 unemployed ex-officers. The King sent a message expressing the hope that a successful effort would be made.
