PANIC CAUSED BY FIRE. l ■ r I TWENTY-FIVE LIVES LOST. * A. and N.Z. NEW YORK, Nov. 26. A fire occurred in a dance ball at i ] Villepat, Louisiana, to-night, while a dance was in progress. Panic seized the crowd in the hall, and the exits were choked by a struggling mass of humanity. Some were trampled to death and others incinerated by the flames, the death-roll reaching a total of 25. (
